1Wish Kid was created to provide a vessel of hope by activating a network of resources within the communities of each impacted family. Our unique concept of pay it forward culture will be the cornerstone of our 1Wish Kid Program.

To transform words into action through a meaningful and impactful way. A community working together and experiencing the love, compassion, impact being made to a child, will encourage grantees and those to witness granted wishes to continue the cycle of giving.
The goal of 1Wish it to provide a wish to children 2 years to 18. A child diagnosed with life-altering illnesses.
To Qualify:

The Child must be under the age of 18 at the time of referral.

The child must have been diagnosed with a life-altering illness.
-
The child must not have received, or be in the process of receiving a wish from another wish-granting program.

A treating medical physician determines whether a child is medically eligible to receive a wish.

Much like their imaginations, children's wishes cover an almost limitless spectrum. From wishing to be a ballerina, meeting their favorite celebrity, receiving a new laptop computer. Wishes generally fall into one of these categories

Referrals & Eligibility
To be eligible, children must be meet the following criteria at the time of referral:

A child under the age of 18 at the time of referral

A child with a life-altering illness
-
A child who has not had a wish from another wish granting program
1Wish Foundation accepts referrals

Parents and legal guardians
-
Healthcare professionals
-
Other family members familiar with the child diagnosis
