1wish provides toys for Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Children who face lengthy periods of hospital stay often and miss out on school, activities and holiday celebrations. To counter these feelings of isolation and loss of hope, 1Wish support many on-site events to support young patients. Our festive volunteers from the community and partners provide a vessel of hope and fun. Some memories that have an impact on patients and families include holidays meals, birthday parties, camps, fundraising events and so many more.
1Wish provides gifts and memories by activating a network of resources within the communities they serve. 1Wish's unique concept of a pay it forward culture is the cornerstone of our 1Wish Hospital Enrichment Program. With these resources, a ripple effect of new ideas, hope, compassion, and smiles are shared among patients, families and 1Wish partners.
1Wish is honored to partner with pediatric hospital and medical organizations throughout the United States such as Phoenix Children's Hospital, Ronald Mcdonald House Charities, Kendra Kisses and so many more
Referrals & Eligibility
To be eligible, children must be meet the following criteria at the time of referral:

A child under the age of 18 at the time of referral

A child with a life-altering illness
-
A child who has not had a wish from another wish granting program
1Wish Foundation accepts referrals

Parents and legal guardians
-
Healthcare professionals
-
Other family members familiar with the child diagnosis
 Holiday MealsWhether it is cookies and milk on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa Clause or peanuts and rootbeer for dads on Father's Day, 1Wish will provide holiday meals to patients and their families in the hospital at PCH. Families that share holidays meals together feel like they have a little bit of home during their stay during any holiday season. |  Birthday Parties1Wish works with Child Life Center for festivities for patients and their families to celebrate patients birthday parties in their corresponding birthday month. So much fun in a zone dedicated just to children inside the hospital - no doctors allowed. Just a fun kid only zone to celebrate birthday. |  Ignite Hope1Wish with their partners and network of resources help support a community candle vigil walk during the holiday season to provide hope to children in the hospital. The Ignite Hope is an annual event created by a young cancer patient Katie that lost her brave battle to cancer. |
